Summary

This adapter will allow you to use 12" records (33 rpm) with 1/4" dowels for axles. You'll need to drill out the record hole to 9/16" first, then hot glue the adapter to the record.

I use a step drill from Harbor Freight to drill the holes. Works way better than a standard twist bit:
