Vehicle Model Bases w/ detachable & movable model

This is a simple, round baseplate for larger models.

Suited for all kinds of aircraft and spacecraft. There are disassembled and pre-assembled versions. It is convenient to be able to disassemble the plate for transport and such.

To attach your model, simple drill a small, well fitting hole into it (close to the center of mass). Find center by balancing the model on top of the mast first, then mark the drilling position.

Depending on your printer, you might have to clamp the ball into a dremel or cordless drill and sand down a bit.
Also the thread may need recutting depending on your printer. Try M6 Screws and Nut first, if that doesn't work you may need to use a thread cutter.

If this is no option for you, just use one of the preassembled versions. Choose Baseplate diameter based on your model size and weight.
