Summary

This is used for either the Warrior or Drill Master batteries from Harbor Freight. You can easily add it to a project, adapt an old tool to give it new life or anything else you may think of. I wanted this adapter and couldn't find where anyone else had done it so I created and figured someone else may get some use out of it as well.

Post-Printing

For assembly you will need the follow items:

2 -1/4" crimp style disconnects
1 - #4 x 5/8 screw(or similar size)
2 pieces of wire
Very basic electrical knowledge

Remove the insulation from the crimp connectors if present and attach the wires to them.
Feed the wires through the holes on the insert block and then through the hole in the slide adapter.
Use screw to attach the block to the adapter.

How I Designed This

I have several older power tools that the batteries are dying or dead on and so I wanted to receive them. After looking at my options I decided that the cheapest way is the Warrior battery from Harbor Freight as it is only $19.99 and you can use the 20% coupon with it, so it is only $16 including a charger. I tested the capacity and found it is the at least the 1300 mah that it is rated. Also I know this battery has built in battery management where I don't think Bauer does. So all around this seemed like a win-win.

In designing the adapter I found that the cheap NiCd Drill Master battery was nearly identical, just the slots where in a different location, so I decided to also make an insert that could be used for that battery as well. This is the DM BAttery Adpater_V3.stl file. I figured it gives more options that way.

This is the first thing I have ever designed from scratch so please be gentle if something is not right with it. Saying that though I welcome any feedback that may help me do better in the future.
