OX CNC Router Shoe - Dust Collector

This is a dust collector shoe for my OX CNC router. It fits with the Spindle Clamp project I released on thingiverse a while back. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2353477

This current version is for a 32mm vacuum pipe.

As you can see for the images, the bristle are removed from a cheap broom, purchased from a hardware store, and hot glued into position. A sharp blade is used to clean the surface after which the two parts of the assemble, Shoe top and Brush Holder, are screwed together.

Print a few of the Brush Holder components to create different length shoes. It also makes it easy to replace the bristles when they are eventually destroyed.

The Dust Collecting Shoe can be clipped on and off, through the use of 2 * 10mm neodymium magnets, also glued in position. There is also a screw which is tensioned onto the vacuum tube.
