Water Rocket Cork

Hi Guys today, I bring you a simple and yet effective improvised cork to fit any bottleneck.

you will need :

1 - > 3D print
2 - > a scrap inner tube from a bike, so you can use the valve and the rubber to help us make an airtight connection with the bottle.
3 -> 4 x M3 bolts and nuts

Method :

1- You need to cut a 10 mm wide by 10 cm long strip of rubber
you need to wrap it in a spiral manner as seen in the pictures

2 - To secure the strip you need to cut a 40 mm x 35mm rectangle.
then you need to make a small circle in the centre of the rectangle (see picture)
3 - Slide the rectangle with the circle over the spiral as seen on pictures to hold everything
together (see pictures)
4 - Feed the valve through the hole and make small cuts for the bolts
Also, you will need a second rubber gasket to ensure the isn't an air leak. (see picture)

5 - When inserting the cork into the bottle you will need to also twist it as you push it in,
this will ensure you have a secure seal.

6 - You can also modify the Solidworks file if you want but if you could share any
improvements would be great.

7 - Finally, I hope you enjoy the design and have fun making rockets
