Levitating Lamp, Rose
First I got the idea for an levitating lamp was, then I saw LYFE levitating plant pots.
I wanted to make a different and cheaper design, so I decided to make this lamp.
THe lamp uses an standard megnetic "maglev module" as you can find it on Aliexpress.
The light comes from an 12-Bit WS2812b LED Ring, controlled by an Attiny85 Controller.
Materials you need:
- 3D-Printed parts
- 3x Round Neodymium Magnets (25 x 4 mm)
- 12x Ring Neodymium Magnets (12 x 4 mm)
- Levitating Module (5V @1 to 1.5A, as seen on the photos)
- Attiny85 USB
- 12-Bit WS2812b or WS2812 LED Ring
- Cables and soldering Wire
- An button to switch the lamp and the color
- USB Power supply (2 to 2.5A)
- some Glue to assemble
The lampshade was designed in lamp-designer: http://lamp-designer.veitgoetz.de
You can use the "rose" lampshade from my files or download or design your own one one the website.
The Attiny85 chip is just to controll the LEDsy you can use every other LED controller as well or just take "normal" white LEDs without any controller
I've printed the lampshade with normal transparent filament, you can use nearly every 3D-Printer you want.
