Summary

This origami inspired ornament prints completely flat without the need for support material. Creases in the model act as living hinges to help guide you as you easily fold it into its final shape. Print two copies of this model and glue them together to form the final piece. A string may be attached to the ornament prior to gluing the two halves together. Enjoy!

To print as one color use the stl labeled "Diamond Origami Ornament".  If printing in two colors assign the "Diamond Origami Ornament Base Layer" to one extruder and the "Diamond Origami Ornament Top Layer" to the other extruder.</p><p>Important Notes:  </p><ol><li>To ensure that the model does not crack when folded make sure that the direction of the first layer of the print is not parallel to any of the creases in the model.  This may be adjusted in your slicer.</li><li>Hot melt was used to glue the two halves of the model together.  </li><li>Preview the layers in your slicer to make sure that the creases in the model will be printed.  If needed increase the scale of the object in 20% increments until your slicer recognizes the creases in the model.</li></ol></div>
