SimpleFinger 1.1

WORK IN PROGRESS

This is a finger prosthetic prototype designed for users with residual proximal phalanxes but no PIP joints. At 100% scale, it is sized for a user with a 23 mm diameter residuum, with allowance for 2 mm of interfacial buffer (eg. moleskin). Included are part files for the socket, middle, tip, and assembly pins. The only other building materials required are fishing line, dental elastics, and a means for anchoring the line to the wrist or hand (backplate still in development).

Substantial support material is required to print the socket, but all parts print have been succesfully printed with PLA, PET-G and ABS using a Dremel Digilab 3D45.
