See N Say Costume.

The whole shell, lever, and arrow are 3D Printed. The shell was printed in pieces and then plastic welded together.

The costume uses an arduino. arduino sound board, a cheap audio amplifier, and a stepper motor.

This is in no way an organized project. I think all the files are here.
