Summary

Just today, we discovered that the soap pump straw in our bathroom hand soap dispenser was damaged. Looks like a job for the Replicator!

Instructions

The only instructions are these:

1.) 100% fill
2.) No shells
3.) I was daring and set the layer heighty to .2 mm. The default is .27 mm, but it's New Year's Eve, and the world is full of possibilties.
3.) No raft, and no support (why would you?). Maybe this is a good test of your Makerbot build table tuning skills?

The straw is 66mm long, and 6.0 mm in outside diameter. This SHOULD fit any hand soap dispenser on the market, and will be a tight fit, but your mileage may vary. Due to the heat of the HBP (when using ABS plastic), the bottom of the straw will flare out. Stuff happens. Print time is about 32 minutes.

You can print this in accelerated mode on the Replicator 1 (I did). Of course, you could be creative and add different colors - I decided to just print the straw. Fits great, and solved a teeny tiny problem. Still, it is nice to know that such power is in the hands of the people! Viva La Makerbot!
