Hong Kong Support Placard (with bonus Chinese flag!)

(For a simplified version of this model, click here.)

The citizens of Hong Kong are under attack as we speak. Those brave enough to protest are being brutalized by a heavily militarized police force that is under the instruction of the mainland Chinese Communist Party government. Why? The Chinese government announced a change to the long standing policy of Hong Kong citizens being tried in Hong Kong courts, and insisted they be extradited to the courts of mainland China.

The main difference between the two systems is that in mainland China it's much easier to be found guilty on trumped-up charges, and your punishment can result in your internal organs being harvested while you watch. Justifiably, the people of Hong Kong were opposed to the idea of being extradited, and so they began to resist. Their peaceful protests were met with violence from the riot police.

Things have escalated since then, and the people of Hong Kong have responded with 5 demands that would simply return the laws to the way they had been for hundreds of years, and ensure a peaceful resolution to the current unrest. Protestors are now arbitrarily being labeled as "rioters", which results in extradition to the mainland and carries a sentence of up to ten years in prison (if you make it out).

Please support, to the best of your ability, any legitimate relief fund that provides relief for the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill movement protestors. Let them know that the world is watching.
