Minimal Monitor Stand

This is a simple lean- to monitor stand. It is especially useful for holding up large 27" monitors, if you only have a small print bed. All of the required parts are very small. This stand will hold the monitor very close to the desk, and at a high angle to put the monitor perpendicular to the users line of sight. The stand can adjust that angle to better suit the user. Because the monitor is held close the the table, there are button protectors that can raise the monitor enough to protect and buttons on the bottom of your monitor.

There are two version of the leg for this monitor stand. If you are using a 27" monitor or above I would suggest using the larger one. In any case, if the leg is too short for your monitor, some books will be able to shim it up further. As the mount is VESA 100 compatible, I don't expect or intend for this stand to be used on larger monitors than that.

I created this monitor stand for my own use. Because it hold monitors close to the table, this allows me to use two 27 inch monitors below a 4k TV, for the ultimate workstation experience. If you using this monitor stand for you primary monitor, I would suggest that you raise it off the table to avoid looking down so much. With another monitor above it your viewing angle is changed enough for it to provide good posture in my month or so of using the configuration described above.

You will need 4x m4 bolts and nuts to assemble this, 2 if you have a light enough monitor, at your discression.
