Waves, interference patterns, convex lens, side obstacle, and such

These are files for several wave interference patterns, captured from ripple tank simulation images and converted to 3D format. Included are 2 point interference, lateral and linear quadrupole, and other patterns.

I haven't built these yet, but see my other wave patterns for examples. You will want to reset the scales, as these are large size, (240 mm) and the vertical scale is good to "play with."

Smaller sizes are the "parent files" from the Simplify3D conversion routine. The larger ones are generated by smoothing the meshes of those files to make much larger, and much smoother wave patterns.

These should not be taken as "quantitative" in their representations, because of the multiple transformations, but are likely fairly close and are good for representing waves in tangible form. Adaptations to artistic or other purposes seems a rich area to explore. These wave patterns are fundamental aspects of nature that we cannot directly see, but they are especially beautiful for that reason. (imho)
