Parametric Miniature Gaming Movement Tray / Storage Tray

This is a parametric movement tray generator. If you look at my other Thingiverse creations, you'll see that I'm obsessed with movement/storage trays for miniature wargaming. I finally got tired of editing things in Tinkercad and created this OpenSCAD file that lets you configure the tray for any size of base.

When you supply the size of the base, the program automatically increases it by 5% to allow for shrinkage and whatnot. So, for a 25mm base, just input 25.

This also has the option for using magnets. I like to put a round 20mm magnet in the hole and then glue a washer to the bottom of the mini so that it stays in the tray. This makes these handy for storage and transport.

You need to install OpenSCAD to use this.

Update 1/11/20: I added the ability to have curved (chamfered) edges and to have square mini bases for you WHFB players out there.

Updated 1/23/20: I added rectangular bases for your cavalry. Also the thickness of the bottom of the tray is now configurable.

Updated 5/13/20: I made the edge spacing independent on the row and column sides so you don't have to have even spacing all around. This helps if you are trying to get a movement tray to be an exact size.

Updated 4/8/23: I added an option to have pill-shaped bases for cavalry or bikes.
