Personal Antimicrobial Facemask

Coronavirus COVID-19 is out of control and protective masks are sold out worldwide. This has led to the rise in the demand for protective masks against the virus, covering the supply stock and leaving thousands without their mask. As a way to protect yourself I created this design that anyone can print from home and adjust to the shape of your face by thermoforming the piece just using a hairdryer.
But how can this 3D printed piece really protect us? The principle of this design is that by using an antimicrobial material as a mask cover that has the power to eliminate bacteria as complex as Staphylococcus or even inactivate the HIV virus just by contact, it can be combined with low-cost disposable materials such as a polypropylene SMS fabric It is normally used for surgical clothing and abounds in all hospitals. The antimicrobial facemask creates a shield against the virus used as a cover of regular mask.
So that its manufacture is fast and hassle-free, it is printed flat, without the need for supports and then adjusts to the face of each face using heat to thermoform the piece and mold it in a personalized way. Of course you need an antimicrobial 3d printed filament but I think today is possible since this material is available almost all around the world.
IMPORTANT: THIS DESIGN IS A CONCEPT OF PROOF AND IS NOT CERTIFIED OR TESTED IN A LABORATORY WITH ANY PATIENT. USE UNDER YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.
