Sigma Lens Hood - 18-35mm - LH780-06

12th May 2020 EDIT: Updated with a V3. It SHOULD (haven't printed it yet) be easier to mount it in reverse now. Plus I made it a bit flatter, so that when mounted it won't be lifting the lens and body (D7100) when resting on a flat surface, keeping the lens parallel to the surface.

19th June 2020 EDIT: Updated with a V4. It now looks a little more like the original LH780-06 with some knurling around where you would grip it.

Designed for the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens.
The product that it's based on is the LH780-06.

It will PROBABLY fit any Sigma lens that:
-> Is 18mm minimum focal length
-> Has 72mm filter thread

I painted the outside in white paint to reflect the heat (and not melt the PLA), and the inside in matte black.

Printing directions for best fitment and speed:
0-3.30mm @ 0.05mm layer height
3.30-5.60mm @ 0.1mm layer height
5.60mm-49mm @ 0.22mm layer height
49mm+ @ 0.1mm layer height
