Explore Scientific ED 102 m54 x 0.75 thread inverter

I use a DSLR camera for astrophotography with my Explore scientific ED102 APO triplet refractor telescope.
the compression ring that connects the field flattener to the drawtube was fine, but inwanted a more solid all-threaded imaging train.

it was quite hard to find an adapter to mate the male threads on the drawtube with the male threads on the field flattener. Dave from HighPointScientific was helpful but they don’t sell the adaptor (thread inverter). i used the dimensions of M54 x 0.75 mm to create a coupler with female threads on both ends

it works well when printed with fine layer height of 0.1mm. You will see the simple red ring next to the dslr camera in the photo i provided. No more compression rings!
