Folded 3D Printed Face Shield Head Band (nih.gov:3dpx-013881)

This version of the 3dpx-013306 by 3DVerkstan is a revision by BrotherRobot (Calramon Mabalot) that makes this clinically proven device 3D printable on a much smaller 3D printer with a build plate of as little as 150mm x 150mm. It uses a flexible section of 1mm that is highly durable over wear and overextending. This version is also small enough to 3D print two (2) at a time in the same space it takes to 3D print one if the original version of this part.
Additional notes from the original 3DVerkstan 3dpx-013306 design:
There is a shortage of protective gear for doctors and nurses, so 3DVerkstan designed a frame for holding standard sized plastic sheets. Quick to print, easy to assemble.
Using readily available plastic sheets with as little modification as possible, and only common tools used.
All features printable with nozzle sizes up to 1mm and layer heights up to 0.5mm
Drip protection above the eyes
Printable in less than 25 minutes*
No tight tolerances requiring well-tuned printers**
Design that works equally well with most common materials (PLA, CPE, PETG, ABS etc.)
The original visor 3dpx-013306 is tested and approved by staff all over the world but there are a lot of different regulations regarding medical supplies, please make sure to follow authority guidelines that apply within your region.
This model has not yet been approved by Columbia University Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital staff but will be submitted for review.
