aux coolant mount BXA

An auxiliary coolant jet mount to fit on BXA tool holders commonly used on lathes. it sets over the 4 set screws and moves with the cutting tool, so once you set the jet position it always stays where it should be as the cut advances.

The jet tube can be made from 3/8' break line with a pinch or scoop formed in the working end. the jet should exit some 30° - 60°, this allows you to position the splash point by rotating and or sliding the jet tube in or out as needed. the small hole in the center of the top is for a set screw to lock the jet tube in place.
