Summary

This grave marker was erected to the memory of Elise Kohler who died in 1888, the year before the territory of Dakotah was split into the states of North & South Dakota. It stands at St. Michael's Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.

Instructions

This isn't my best work. I was in a hurry and using a manual focus prime lens on my Nikon. I was also being bitten by mosquitos like crazy! I took as many sharp photos as quickly as possible but skipped varying the height of the camera for the photo captures which resulted in too few photos to adequately model some parts of the monument as can be seen in the screen captures. I shot in RAW in my Nikon, imported the files into Adobe Lightroom and adjusted the exposures and sharpened the photos. I then exported them as 16-bit TIFs and masked them. I saved the masks as PNGs. Finally I imported the TIFs & PNG masks into Agisoft Photoscan Pro and used the ultra high option when rendering the model. As you can see, my hurry when I was shooting resulted in a model that isn't quite as good as it should have been.
