A mount for a motor 28BYJ-48 was added to fit on instead of the hand crank.
To fit the electronics, a Box was attached to the right leg of the original thing.
The box contains receptacles for the boost converter, Arduino nano clone and stepper motor driver board I used.
The following electronics parts were used:
Stepper motor 28BYJ-48
Stepper motor driver board with ULN2003

Simple boost converter in order to use a 5V USB cable as input, and use approx. 7.2V for the motor. With 5V the motor does run, but slower/less torque. The Arduino works fine with this input.
