Star Wars mod for Vorpal Hexapod

This is a dome mod for the Vorpal Hexapod

I took the head from the BB-9E from here:

and scaled it to fit the Vorpal

The top of the head cap I took from here:

and modified it until I was happy.

The eye piece came from here:

I used subtraction to get the eye cover to fit onto the BB-9E head. There is a small amount of trimming required to get a full flush fit, but it was pretty simple to do in the physical world rather than in the program, so I left it.

I made some inserts for the lid/head top so it could be made in a different color and glued in.

The "cut ring for head mods" is the bottom of the head for a stock Vorpal and can be used to make other head types, if you want a different type of head, just scale it, match them up and it should fit the Vorpal body. The only issue is getting it aligned so the head faces forward.

If I may be so bold, If you decide to name your droid, would you have "SP" as the first part of its name? SP-W1R, SP-D3T, etc. I like the idea of this being a new droid type and seeing a bunch of "SP" droids running around.
