Build Ultra Light 150mm Binoscope

This project will provide detailed information on how to build an ultra-light binoscope using two 6 inch F5 mirrors. When used with two 20mm wide field eyepieces, which give a magnification of 38X, this binoscope provides dramatic views of star clusters and galaxies.

This binoscope shown here is the simplest and most compact version and all the 3D parts can be made on a printer which only has a maximum capability of 170mmX170mm. An improved design, which I call " Dual Newtonian Offset Binoscope", requires printing parts up to 250mm but does make observing much easier at the zenith. I will be providing the details of this design later but many of the parts for this current design can be re-used.
