PS Vita 1000 Hand Grip Charging Port-access Mod

I ordered a hand grip for my PS Vita 1000 off AliExpress and it had a mediocre locking mechanism which blocked the charging port.

This mod replaces the sliding locking mechanism, improving it, and giving access to charging port and headphone jack of the device. It is not a moving part, but the device can be removed just as easily by gently flexing the case.

Fits the original charging cable.

Only a screwdriver is required for this mod.

How to mount:

1. Unscrew 9 screws on the back of the hand grip and open.
2. Unclip the locking mechanism from the back of the front plate.
3. Insert printed part in place of the locking mechanism.
4. Reverse step 1
5. Enjoy.
