Summary

This is my rendition of the spaceship from the Film "Destination Moon"
One of my favourite old movies based on a novel by Robert A. Heinlein.

Instructions

I have up loaded a file for just the pads by themselves as they had a habit of being knocked off the raft.
Flip them over so they stand on their pegs and print with raft and supports , problem solved!

I used the Standard profile to print on a Replicator2
2 shells
layer height 0.2
temp 215 Deg C
If you use a raft for the "nozzle & pads" the pads will print stood on their points with no supports.
No supports are required for printing if you use rafts for this model.
Personally I always use a raft to get a better finish on the bottom surfaces ( I print on Blue Tape ).
Plus it makes it a doddle to remove the prints from the bed and I have found that the parts easily remove from the raft leaving a
surface that is almost as shiny as the top surface.
