Summary

This is a tool to remove the sediment filter from a Delta kitchen sink faucet head. I tried some other versions I found on Thingiverse, but they weren't the right size.

How I Designed This

I started by measuring the inner and outer diameter of the retention ring on the faucet using a caliper, as well as the width and length of an individual tooth on the ring. Using TinkerCad, I created a cylinder whose outer diameter matched the OD of the retention ring, and then placed boxes on top for the teeth. The teeth of the tool required some trial-and-error to get the correct size and spacing. I placed two boxes opposite each other, and then duplicated them, rotated the pair 45 degrees, and repeated that twice more to get all 8 teeth.
