Summary

This is my solution for mounting an Arduino Mega2560 with a Ramps 1.4, inside a mount cradle - to an Alloy Mendel,or others with alloy extrusion with 8mm slots.

Instructions

This is my mounting solution for use on Alloy Mendel by dkennell thing16076,for an Arduino Mega2560 and Ramps1.4 - to be used with 30x30mm Alloy extrusion,it will require one of my other things " big foot " to allow enough clearance height, it has two 8mm strips on its sides to help align it with slots in alloy extrusion,with 4 x 5mm mount holes - will require the 4 holes in the base tapping m3, and it has a rebate in top edge to allow fitting of a perspex lid in which you can drill mount holes/slots for mounting a 40x40mm 12v fan above the stepper motor boards for cooling.
