Summary

This is a plant pot that emphasizes the filtration that some plants have on the air within their roots. This is used mostly with smaller snake plants and encourages airflow to said roots.

I designed this after seeing other designs that seemed unsatisfactory. Hopefully a few people will enjoy this design as much as I have.

The 2 halfs of the 2.0 variation can be put together with any epoxy made for plastics.

How I Designed This

Toledo Air Quality is the Motivator

            <div><p>I like plants. I like clean air. I lived in Toledo at the time. Toledo does not have plants. Toledo does not have clean air. I do not like Toledo.rnrnThe idea came from browsing thingiverse and seeing other post with the purpose of giving airflow to snakeplant roots in order to purify the air. As skeptical as I was, there were studies that concluded that it works, and quite well at that. Most of the designs seemed a bit remedial, so I decided to put my own spin on it. I dont really know if I noticed a direct improvement in air quality, but they are pretty neat, and my snake plants thrive in them.  </p></div>
