1mm Screwdriver Bit for SX-70 Cameras
TO BE PRINTED OUT OF STEEL
This part is a screwdriver bit for the 1x1mm square screws found on the Polaroid SX-70 and some other similar cameras. It is designed to fit into a precision screwdriver with a 4mm hex key.
It is not technically required to print this part out of steel, but it's strongly preferred, due to the strength of the material and its ability to stick to a magnet (which is why other metals are discouraged). A strong plastic part could technically work, but it would probably keep falling out of the handle.
IMPORTANT: not all steels are magnetic. Check the specific grade before you order a print.
Notably, 316L steel, which is often used in printing, is not magnetic. 420/BR is, so you can go ahead with that one.
