Summary

This is a print-in-place roller bearing with a flange if you would like to screw it to a table or fixture. It takes a little work to remove the internal supports and some spinning to smooth out the bearings, but it works well in both tension and compression.

This print is designed to only need supports from the print bed to the bottom of the rollers to minimize filament usage. You can glue a plate to the top if you would like a solid surface.

Post-Printing

Remove supports and spin under load

            <div><p>The supports may be hard to remove due to their location inside the bearing. After removing the supports, place the bearing between your hands and spin while pressing your hands together. A little speed will produce heat and smooth out the bearings quicker. Additionally, grabbing both sides and spinning while pulling will smooth the bearing while under tensile loads.</p></div>
