Organizer - paper chipboard strip grooves cutter
Many of us face the problem with electronics components storage. So how to store countless resistors, capacitors, but also nuts and bolts in many different sizes?
The idea is to design organizers that are easier and cheaper in manufacturing. It is important to choose cell sizes correctly, or make it possible to change them depending on the size of the stored parts.
As the material I choosed 1.5mm thick paper chipboard. It can be easily cut and glued. The organizer consists of crossing grooved baffles glued together to the base plate.
For easy manufacturing I designed a grooves cutter that consists of 3D printed parts:
-1x base
-1x blade holder
-2x bearing clamp
-1x top (handle)
Additional 3D printed equipment:
-1x cut strip holder
-cutting span templates
There are also non 3D printed parts required:
-2x MR106ZZ 6x10x3 bearing
-12x M4x25mm bolts
-1x M4x20mm bolt
-13x M4 nuts
-13x M4 bolt washers
-2x blade fragments (of segment blade knife)
-1x 1mm washer (for the cutting strip holder) - washer size depends on cutted strip thickness
Non required (when blades are glued into holder):
-1x M2x6mm bolt
-2x M2 washers
-1x M2 nut
-2x brass strips with a hole
-1x spacer (between brass strips)
-2x brass inserts (dissipating blade pressure on the handle)
Assembly equipment:
-3D printed corner assembly holders
It remains to assembly the whole tool and start manufacturing your own organizers.
