Cardboard Laptop Stand

I made this remix for my 15" MacBook Pro Retina. I made this one quickly as a prototype to see what it would look like.

Changes:

• Laptop angle similar to mStand
• The front laptop grip to 90º.
• Front laptop grip's height made so that it's ~1/16" under they laptop height.
• A narrower base.
• Changed the center curve of the base.
• Changed the depth of the front curve.

What's next: (what I would change)

• Modify the front of the laptop grip to have the same curve as the laptop.
• Research to see how most popular store-bought stands are made. This includes:
• Maybe decrease the stand's height.
• Maybe modify the laptop angle.
• See the possibility of making a smaller depth. Right now the stand ends at 2–3" behind the laptop. Maybe it could stop 2" under the laptop (laptop would overhand the stand). This would make the stand much smaller.
• Play around with stand's width.
• Think about another design (visuals).
