MakerBot Assembly Bot MKI (MBAB I)

A joint project between MakerBot & Modio, MakerBot Assembly Bot MKI is purpose built to assemble MakerBots. WIth a theoretical output capacity of 42.75 MakerBots per hour, MBAB I is the fastest assembly method to date. MBAB I features a tripod inspired base with shock absorbing support structure allows which MBAB I to be able to construct MakerBots even in the most apocalyptic conditions. MBAB I sports four independent arms to achieve maximum construction dexterity, coupled with two lower platforms.

I am submitting this for the #ModioChallenge because I though it would be cool to capture the spirit of MakerBot 3D printers being able aid in the construction of more 3D printers.
This model can not only hold your printed models, it is also pretty darn cool to look at.

Model created and uploaded using the Modio app for iPad, available for free in the App store. Designed to print well without rafts or support material. Check out Modio's website: http://modio3d.com.
