Summary

Extruder heat sink for a NEMA 17 with embedded fan mounts pre sprued to be cast out of aluminum.

Instructions

Once the part is cast:
Trim off sprues and vents.
Tap two of the holes for M3 bolts to mount the fan. This will allow the extruder heat sink fan assembly to come off in one piece. This allows access to the rocker bearing mechanism that push filament without the assembly falling apart.
The other two holes are the through holes that mount the assembly to the Nema 17. The holes may need to be drilled/bored out if there are imperfections in the casting.
