Summary

Holds an iPhone in the front and an iPad behind, either can be charged hence the groove in the phone section.
Included the scad file so it can be modified for other phones or tablets.

Yay, My first shared thing..

Originally designed to hold an iPhone 4S and a iPad 3rd gen but I imagine it could be easily modified for any tablet and phone combo.

The current depth between front and rear sections are designed to hold an ipad (third gen) with a smart cover only. 12mm ..

recompile in openscad and change ipad_depth parameter if you have a thicker case.

there are flag variables at the top to generate only the top, only the rear, with or without a slot for the dock connector or to show the parts assembled or next to each other flat for printing.

I printed at 15% infill and 0.3mm layers, it could do with some work to increase the strength of the posts, pulling on the ipad would snap them. I printed hot to get good layer adhesion. If mine breaks I may add some bracing or modify and print a good deal wider to increase the strength.

The two parts are interference fit, I had to sand the pegs a little and clean out the slots in the front parts and then tapped the parts together. Intention was to glue it, but they are not going to fall off.

grab the istack_assembled model if you have a printer capable, print vertically or add support or use istack front and istack rear.

The idea started with the parametric remote control holder, attributed as ancestry.. no code in common any longer though..
