Human Mandible - Lower Jaw Bone (Gender: Female)

This is a human mandible - lower jaw bone (female) taken from an actual CT scan. DiCom files (CT scan files) converted to .stl (3D printable file) using an open-source software "3D Slicer". Meshmixer software is used to edit the .stl file further.

We've been training surgeons in our city in partnership with other FabLabs in our country for them to explore the usability of additive manufacturing in their line of work such as pre-surgical planning.
