Overview and Background

This Bracket is used in vehicles for clutch, acceleration, brake pedal assembly or can be used for applications where triangle brackets with 3 holes are required.

Lesson Plan and Activity

step 1: Do the modeling using appropriate CAD software e.g. Solidworks, Fusion360.

step 2: Import the model in simulation software of your choice e.g. Ansys, Fusion 360, nTopology, etc.

step 3: Do the static analysis by giving required constraints, material description, and boundary conditions.

step 4: Do the optimization under suitable iteration and percentage material allowance.

step 5: Post-process the obtained model by smoothening and finally export the part in the required file format to be 3D printed. e.g. 3MF, STL, OBJ, etc.

Materials Needed

The material description is highly based on brackets application, amount, and type of load the bracket is applied.
