LED Ring light mount for quad copter - 60mm
I had purchased a cheap LED ring light for one of my 3d printers, but never got around to mounting it. So, I thought it might make a great headlight for a quadcopter, to help with orientation and such at a distance, or for flying at dusk.
The light was a basic 60mm ring light as shown in the photos. The bracket is designed to slip over the edge of a quadcopter platform as shown, and then you'll need to strap it down, glue, it, tape it, etc. I put a few holes in so one could use zip ties if needed.
I have not actually flow with this yet, so when I do, I may make some modifications. It's not a terribly strong piece, because the ring light circuit board is pretty stiff on it's own. I plan to mount it to the bracket using strips of servo tape, but the ever popular zip ties should work nicely as well.
