Crimp positioner holder for Astro/DMC/Iwiss M22520 indent crimper
The IWISS HD-2612D and similar crimpers have a positioner that screws into the back to hold the contact at a specified depth during the crimp operation. This positioner makes the whole unit too thick to fit in most toolbox drawers.
Removing the positioner means it's easy to lose, however.
So I made a little clippy holder that sticks to the back of the crimper frame. It holds all three positioners, with enough clearance for one to contain the jam-nut, and the whole kaboodle is no taller than the frame by itself.
There's also a little notch to indicate the selected gauge, since the mark on the frame is covered up.
This is a remix of thing:4906409 with the nest spacing adjusted to the jam-nut can live on the middle positioner rather than the uppermost, which further reduces the profile so it fits in my toolbox's thinnest drawer.
