Use this gauge to set your caliper dimension. Then you can use your caliper while using a parting tool on your lathe to stop cutting when you've reached the desired diameter. Range varies from 1/8" diameter to 3" diameter.

Long sections indicate 1" increments, medium sections indicate 1/4" increments, and short sections indicate 1/8" increments.
