Summary

My el-cheapo band saw was so cheap the plastic handle on the fence clamp broke on second use.

So obviously I SCADed a new one ;)

Instructions

This was printed in ABS (because that was loaded), 15% hex fill, though it has a little flex so I'd go ~30% next time. Need a fan for the tip, it just started to go a bit gooey near the end even with a fan, or slow it down.

When fitting the new one, which was pretty accurate size-wise - except the tip was a bit thicker for strength, it was obvious the old one was badly designed and the mounting bolt spread the ends causing the break (or the bolt flange was inacurrate). I left the design as such, but a little sanding and the new one fit. Specifically need to round the corner at the end of the long flat side, and the bolt flanges gently scrapped away some of the ABS inside the gap.

The spring steel pin was a PITA, so I just used 3mm filament.

Works better than a bought one!
