Summary

This is an automated test tube carousel which holds 20 13x100 mm test tubes. The carousel is controlled by an Arduino, with a serial interface for starting/stopping and manual stepping.

The carousel is held onto the shaft of the NEMA 17 stepper motor using a #4-40 screw and a tapping insert from McMaster-Carr:
