This desk lamp is printed in three parts

Assembling the lamp
Print the three STL files, I print the cell triple base and the lamp lower together and the lampshade separately with a brim.
If you are assembling the LEDs onto the heat sink stars, then you can either use surface mount reflow paste in a skillet (just search you tube) or I used thermal adhesive to glue the center pad of the LED to the star, then soldered the contacts in place. Alternatively you can buy the stars preassembled.
Next wire the three LEDs in series in the same direction. With the two end wires left longer. Place the three stars into the triple cell print.
Wire the positive of the LED’s to one terminal of the toggle switch, wired the negative to the ballast resistor. Connect the other end of the ballast resistor to the negative terminal of the power socket.
Connect the positive on the power socket to the other pole on the switch.
Tap the three holes in the lampshade pat with an M3x6 tap.
Screw the triple cell base to the lampshade with three M3 screws.
Assemble the base inserting the switch and the socket into the two holes (they are different sized.
Use a few dabs of superglue to glue the triple cell base to the lamp lower and ensuring that the three holes in the base line up with the M3 screws.
