7975 rotary sheet metal gear

a friend has a Black and Deck 7975 rotary sheet metal cutter that had a plastic gear inside that gave up. I have printed in PLA and it fits fine just won't last. I print at a 45-degree angle to try to avoid a single line at the tips of the gear. I can't get ABS to work on my machine and don't have time to fiddle with it. might have to try a printing service to get something strong enough.
