Pregnant Lady, Wooden Edition

I never expected my office to smell like a wood shop with the scent of freshly cut pine in the air, but that is exactly what happened today, thanks to the fine folks at colorfabb and, to honor the occasion, I tweaked the Pregnant Woman model to better suit the medium, mostly through giving it a thicker body.

The picture fails to do her justice: in person this looks like it has been carved or cut from wood, not extruded from a 3d printer. The texture and general feel proclaim it as a wooden object. Even the layering somehow seems a natural part of the piece.
