Summary

Here is the Ghostly Accessory Box with 45 adapter. There are two versions, one designed for LED's and one without. I'm always losing my 45 adapters, now it has a home. The box is great for accessories or whatever you chose to put in it.

Instructions

Print your parts at whatever resolution you desire. The example above was on a Makerbot Replicator 2 with standard settings at 10% infill for the box and lid, everything else was set at 50%. The box is the only part that needs support, rafting depends on your printer. The Replicator needed rafting for the lid and box to prevent the edges from warping upwards, a printer with a heatbed should not need it. The logo for the 45 RPM adapter, if printed at a high resolution, should just snap into place. If not, use a rubber mallet to gently tap into place. The ring for the logo does have a sweet spot, so when your snapping it into place, move it around on the adapter to find it. It was designed to be a tight, seamless fit so it may require a little coaxing. Use glow in the dark filament, it looks awesome! The battery box holds a single 9volt battery wired to 2 white LEDs, a 100k resistor and a small switch found in the lid. I used a hot glue gun to hold the wires and switch in place. The switch I pulled from some LED Tea Lights I had laying around, bought them on Amazon, however any small switch should work fine as long as it fits the opening in the lid. The lid insert is held in place with a little super glue. Enjoy!
