Mini Xmas tree suitable for dual extrusion. Includes OpenSCAD source and STL files. Suitable for turning into ear-rings

UPDATE: Mk II versions added as I found the bond between the body and hanging ring was weak and easily broken. Hopefully fixed now.

Instructions

Printed using red and green 1.75mm PLA on a Wanhao 4S. Heated bed switched off and covered with 3mm glass plate with blue painters tape.

Both nozzles set to 210 degC and exported from MakerWare. Print time 15 minutes.

The tree trunk is set into the base through a small printed pin but the hanging ring is only fastened to the top by simple plastic adhesion.

I've uploaded separate STL files for red and green. When imported into MakerWare they will line up in readiness for dualstrusion.

The OpenSCAD model was a quick hack but the red green pieces can be identified as they're tagged with the correct colour. Commenting out the appropriate sections will enable you to export your own separate STL files if you desire.
