Warhorse for Miniatures

One thing that often frustrates me both as a GM and a player about mounted combat: it can happen both while you're mounted and when you're unmounted. If you use miniatures, this means either you need separate minis for being mounted and not, or you need some (usually wonky) solution to represent mounted minis.

This is my less-wonky solution. The warhorse is on a 2"x2" square (appropriate for a Size-Large creature's space) and has a 2"x1" "saddle" elevated to remind you the rider is on higher ground. Usually only one character rides a given horse, but sometimes things don't go that way, so the saddle holds two.

NOTE: the images of the warhorse come from the intarwebs and I don't know what (if any) licensing is granted. I'll post references once I can figure out what the right way to do this is.
