Opel Center Plate & Cover For The Wheel
I had titanium disks from an unknown company, in which the center plate and the nut that holds it down were lost. They hid the bolts, but the hole for the hub was not covered by anything. In the original there should have been a cover for it, but it was also lost. So I made my own plate and a nut that would hold it down and at the same time cover the hole for the hub so that no dirt would get in.
The model is very primitive and it was difficult to make a normal thread in the program I was modeling it in, so I just adjusted the dimensions so that the nut would tightly screw onto the thread of the disk.
Perhaps these models will be useful for someone to modernize them for their own projects.
The size of the plate is 151x151mm, the inner diameter is 66x66mm.
The nut size is 87x87mm, the internal hole size is 66x66, the internal size of the rod for the hub is 49.5x49.5mm.
I chose the highest print layer for my nozzle, 0.4mm, because the part will be sanded and painted black anyway. I'm thinking of painting the central Opel logo separately with white paint.
Later I'll post a photo of the finished result and how it will look on the wheels.
