Meade Super Wide Angle (32mm) Element Centering Cementing Jig

The challenge was to create something that could hold two varying diameter glass elements and ensure perfect centering for re-cementing.

UPDATE June 3, 2023 11:52am No changes to the design, but I did use it complete the cementing. Rather than use it right from the get go I decided to have both elements free before applying the cement. This was to facilitate rotation of the top element. I placed the jig on top of the cemented elements and the shape forced them into position. I have not considered how I will separate the jig from the cemented elements, but I will update once the pre-curing process is done in about 2 hours.
